Breeding
When you have leveled two UNIXPUNKS to the end of level 10, your UNIX terminal will become gold and issue a “breed” button. This button will allow you to pick any combination of max level UNIXPUNKS to breed.

Understanding rarity scores and UNIXPUNK ranks
Each UNIXPUNK has a unique rarity score based on its attributes. For example, a UNIXPUNK with rare attributes & patterns will have a higher rarity score.
This score not only decides the rank of your UNIXPUNK, but also influences the type of Incubation Card you receive. To see a UNIXPUNK's rarity score, see the breeding process prompt or check the NFT details page of your pixelated friend on the onXRP NFT Marketplace.

After successfully starting the breeding process of your two UNIXPUNKS, they will enter two weeks of incubation, during which selling or transferring your UNIXPUNK will cancel the incubation process.
Rarity Scores and Incubation Cards
The rarity of the incubation card that becomes claimable after the two week breeding period is dependent on the rarity score of your UNIXPUNK. Trait based NFTs such as UNIXPUNKS have a rarity score which is calculated based on the combined rarity of traits of the NFTs. You can easily see your rarity score, and how it is calculated, on the onXRP NFT marketplace.
To determine which incubation card you will receive, the rarity score of both UNIXPUNKS is added up to create a combined rarity score. Refer to the following table to see what combined scores yields which card:
Incubation card
Combined rarity score
BRONZE
< 355.327
SILVER
355.327 - 462.353
GOLD
462.354 - 630.4492
DIAMOND
630.4493 - 1060.328
DARK MATTER
> 1060.328
To preview which incubation card you will receive by pairing a specific pair of UNIXPUNKS together, select them and view the probable outcome on the breeding prompt.

Auto-Breeding
Auto-Breeding streamlines the process of breeding the same UNIXPUNKS pair multiple times. When turned on, your UNIXPUNKS pair(s) will continue breeding after claiming the incubation card.
Auto-Breeding can be turned on or off by flipping the switch on the Chunkagotchi page of the UNIXPUNKS website.

Can I breed the same UNIXPUNKS/pairs more than once?
Yes, this can be done multiple times for as long as the process is ongoing.
